This event was originally scheduled for July, but was rescheduled to Saturday, August 3rd.
Join us for a family-friendly excursion to Westmoreland State Park! Approx. 90 minutes from Richmond, this beautiful riverfront park offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy a fun day outdoors. Paddle the Potomac, trek the trails, or search for shark teeth on Fossil Beach. At 1pm, learn more about the park's ambassador animals, Reba the Corn Snake or Stevie the King Snake, as they feed on a frozen mouse! Stay until evening to enjoy some toe-tapping tunes during Music on the Cliffs
We'll meet at the park's Discovery Center parking lot at 11am for a BYO picnic before heading to Fossil Beach; otherwise feel free to drop in at any point during the day and leave when you want.

This year, you can earn badges based off of the events that you attend. Earn 4 of the 6 different badges (Outdoorsy, Social Butterfly, Kid at Heart, Game Time, Skill Monkey, or Traveler) to earn your A10 Summer of Fun Adventurer badge! Your Summer of Fun leaders will have the available badges on hand the day of the event. (Limit one badge per person per event.)
